Notice is here by given that Penrith Valley Canoeing AGM will be held on the 2nd of December 2020 at 8pm at the Schools Boat Shed (Bruce Neil Drive Penrith)
At the AGM there will be a vote on a Special Resolution to amend the current Club Constitution.
The board are seeking the change in the Club Constitution to allow the Whitewater discipline to establish a local club in their own right
Only financial members (over 18 years) and life members are eligible to vote, there are no proxy votes allowed and the special resolution needs to pass by at least 75% of the votes casted by the entitled members present at the AGM.
The Board encourages all financial and life members to attend the AGM to ensure a vote on the special resolution can be held. A minimum of 25% of the voting members is required.
If current members wish to nominate for a position on the Board please email your intent along with the names of two members certifying your nomination to pvc @paddle.org.au or nominate at the AGM.
