Competition Format
The race will consist of a single race with two runs for each paddler. Points will be awarded for each paddler competing. Races 1 & 2 are intended to be followed by races 3 – 6. Overall points score winners will receive prizes based on their best 4 races in Division A and Division B, for Junior and Senior groups (or as otherwise determined by the organizing committee). Division A – high performance athletes Division B – everyone else
The weekends racing shall comprise the following races:-
- Saturday 31 October 2015 – PVC Slalom Series Race 1
- Sunday 1 November 2015 – PVC Slalom Series Race 2
Rules
The competitions will be run in accordance with AC and ICF rules.

Start List
The provisional Start list will be published on the PVC web site and posted on the PaddleNSW website on Thursday 29 October 2015. Errors to the start list should be notified to Leanne Mckay by COB on Friday 30 October 2015.
Start Order
Start order will be strictly in start list order. The clock will start for each run at the advertised time.
Start Intervals
Individual classes will be between 60 and 45 sec start interval between each competitor.
1 – 2 minutes between classes.
Course Designers
To be announced on Friday 30 October
Body number distribution.
Body numbers will be distributed from 6.45 am on Saturday at the Events Shed (top of hill). The same body number will be used for both races. The body numbers must be returned at the finish following the second run on Sunday. A cash refundable deposit of $20.00 will be required for each Bib. Any body number not returned will attract a $100 fee. Please note body numbers will not be issued unless payment received for your race entries.
Start and Finish.
The Start line will be positioned at the first drop off the top pond. Paddlers will assemble in the top pond and ensure that they are at the start at their advertised start time. The Finish line will be positioned above the bottom drop.
Results
The finish total for each competitor will be displayed on a scoreboard near the Events shed as soon as possible.

Enquiries regarding the results can be made – responses will be subject to Officials availability and time commitments.
Officials Meeting
There will be an officials briefing at 7.00 am on Saturday morning. Officials will need to be in place and ready to start by 7:15 am each day. All officials will go into a lucky draw for a thank you prize.
